Consignment

Local Consignment Pieces

Although most of our inventory is hand-picked and imported from Europe, we also accept quality antique and vintage furniture, art, and home décor in many different styles and aesthetics on consignment. Consigning is a great way to sell items that you no longer need or have room for, gives your items a new, loving home, and contributes to a sustainable environment. We strive to deliver the best possible experience for our customers and consignors. We display and care for your pieces as though they were our own.

HOW TO CONSIGN ITEMS:
Send clear photos of anything you wish to consign to us: [email protected]

Please also include any relevant information, such as: provenance, measurements (approximate is fine), if it has any makers marks, and condition. Please be sure the item is in excellent, clean condition. If it needs repair or cleaning, we can take care of it, but the consignor will be charged at an hourly rate for this service.

If your items are approved for consignment, they can be dropped off during store hours. Please note you are responsible for transporting your piece(s) to our showroom at 226 SW Marine Drive in Vancouver, BC. Everything is checked for quality, style and condition to ensure we continue to offer the best pieces to our valued customers. We can help arrange delivery with a local delivery service, if you’d like.

We do not offer in-home viewings at this time.

PRICING
Pricing depends on several factors, including quality, condition, style, and age. Our years of experience and up-to-date market knowledge allows us to put the best possible price on your furniture. After seeing photos, we can tell you how much we will advertise the piece for.

The consignor receives 40% of the sale price.

LENGTH OF CONSIGNMENT
Consignment pieces are on a 90-day contract.  Typically items sell before this point, but if it remains longer than 90 days we will need to reduce the asking price. If we are unable to sell your piece at the discounted price, we will contact you to discuss your options.

HOW WE ADVERTISE YOUR ITEMS:
Each of our listings are marketed through our website, our weekly newsletter to thousands of subscribers, on our social media platforms, and on 1stDibs.com (a very popular global marketplace).

*Please note that we will not accept any goods that have been previously marketed on Craigslist or any other internet ‘free’ website*
